Sunformance was recently engaged as the mechanical lead by Sun Tribe EPC to execute a comprehensive mechanical remediation and structural recovery project

Racking Bracket Remediation
The mechanical team addressed 116 improperly installed top post brackets. To ensure secure attachment and proper load transfer, Sunformance technicians executed precision repositioning and drilled new connection holes tailored to the manufacturer's exact fit-up tolerances.
Array Tilt and Structural Alignment:
Utilizing advanced digital leveling instrumentation, the team corrected distorted array lines. Workers adjusted the sections to a uniform, design-specified 12.5-degree tilt angle, restoring a consistent row plane across the site without compromising the structural integrity of the installed modules.


Advanced Module Handling:
For areas requiring deep structural retrofitting, modules were systematically uninstalled, safely transported, and staged using specialized manual and mechanical lift protocols to open clear access to the underlying racking infrastructure.
Industrial Site Optimization and Anti-Corrosion Care:
To guarantee long-term asset durability, the mechanical scope concluded with extensive hardware re-torqueing, the application of high-visibility torque-witness QC markings, and the treatment of all non-factory structural holes with a specialized galvanized protective coating to prevent corrosion.
